Privacy policy
Last updated: July 31, 2026
Tuti Boutique operates tutiboutique.com and the related storefront, customer-care, and shopping services described in this policy (the “Services”). Shopify provides the commerce platform that powers the Services.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect or process, why we use it, when we disclose it, and the choices and rights available to you. If this policy conflicts with our Terms of Service about the handling of personal information, this policy controls.
Personal information we collect
“Personal information” means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. Depending on how you use the Services and where you live, we may collect or process:
- Identity and contact information, such as your name, email address, phone number, billing address, shipping address, and country.
- Order and transaction information, such as products viewed, wishlisted, added to a cart, purchased, returned, exchanged, or cancelled; order numbers; shipping status; and transaction history.
- Payment information. Shopify and payment providers process payment-card and financial details. Tuti Boutique generally receives transaction status, payment method, billing details, and limited payment information rather than a complete card number.
- Account information, such as login credentials, saved addresses, preferences, and account settings.
- Communications and submitted content, such as customer-care messages, return requests, survey responses, reviews, photos, and other content you send to us.
- Device and network information, such as IP address, browser, device type, operating system, cookie identifiers, and network connection information.
- Usage information, such as pages visited, links selected, referring pages, search activity, interaction with products and advertisements, and approximate location derived from IP address.
- Consent and preference information, including cookie choices and email or SMS marketing preferences.
- Fraud and security information, such as risk signals, authentication events, and information needed to protect orders, customers, and the Services.
- Inferences, such as likely product interests or shopping preferences derived from the information above where permitted by law.
We do not intentionally request sensitive information through customer-care channels. Do not send payment-card numbers, passwords, government identification numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive data by email or chat.
How we collect information
We collect personal information:
- Directly from you when you browse, order, create an account, join a marketing list, submit a review, request a return, or contact us.
- Automatically through Shopify, cookies, pixels, logs, and similar technologies when you use the Services.
- From service providers that support payments, fraud prevention, fulfillment, shipping, analytics, marketing, hosting, and customer care.
- From business and advertising partners where you have consented or the collection is otherwise permitted by law.
How we use personal information
We use personal information to:
- Provide the storefront, process payments, fulfill and track orders, handle returns and refunds, maintain accounts, and provide customer care.
- Communicate about orders, security, policy changes, and service messages.
- Personalize the storefront, remember preferences, recommend products, and improve products, content, navigation, and performance.
- Send email or SMS marketing when you have opted in, and measure marketing performance.
- Show or measure relevant advertising where consent is required and has been given.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, illegal activity, and violations of our terms.
- Comply with tax, accounting, consumer-protection, sanctions, law-enforcement, litigation, and other legal obligations.
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and protect customers, Tuti Boutique, Shopify, and others.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform a contract with you, comply with law, pursue legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights, protect vital interests, or act with your consent. You may withdraw consent for future processing at any time, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Cookies and consent choices
Shopify and approved service providers use cookies and similar technologies. Required technologies support checkout, security, fraud prevention, network management, and basic storefront operation. Optional categories include:
- Analytics to understand store use and improve performance.
- Marketing to measure campaigns and support relevant advertising.
- Preferences to remember choices and personalize the experience.
Where Shopify determines consent is required, the Tuti Boutique cookie banner lets you accept, reject, or customize optional categories. Rejecting optional cookies does not disable technologies strictly necessary to provide the Services. Browser controls can also block or delete cookies, but doing so may affect storefront features.
Marketing choices
We send promotional email or SMS messages only when you opt in or when another lawful basis permits them. You can unsubscribe from email using the link in any promotional email. You can opt out of promotional SMS by replying STOP. We may still send non-promotional messages needed to complete an order, provide customer care, protect an account, or comply with law.
When we disclose information
We may disclose personal information to:
- Shopify, which hosts and operates core commerce, checkout, account, analytics, and security features.
- Payment and fraud-prevention providers to authorize transactions and protect the Services.
- Fulfillment, warehouse, shipping, customs, and return providers to deliver orders and process returns.
- Technology and customer-care providers for hosting, communications, storage, support, monitoring, and site operation.
- Analytics, marketing, and advertising providers when permitted by law and consistent with your consent choices.
- Professional advisers and authorities when reasonably necessary for legal, tax, accounting, audit, insurance, security, or compliance purposes.
- A buyer, investor, lender, or successor in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or insolvency transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
- Other parties at your direction or with your consent.
We do not sell personal information for money. However, some disclosures for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under certain United States state privacy laws.
Shopify's role
Information submitted through the Services is transmitted to Shopify and other providers that may process it in countries different from your own. Shopify processes personal information to provide and improve the commerce platform, prevent fraud, and support merchant and consumer features.
We use Shopify features that may combine information about your interactions with Tuti Boutique, other Shopify merchants, and Shopify to improve services and support personalized advertising. For those features, Shopify is responsible for its own processing and for responding to applicable rights requests.
Learn more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and use the Shopify Privacy Portal for rights relating to information processed by Shopify.
United States state privacy choices
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal information; opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing; limit certain sensitive-information uses; and appeal a denied request. These rights are subject to legal exceptions.
You can opt out of uses treated as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising through our data-sharing opt-out page. Where required, we also process a valid Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request for the browser or device sending it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, know, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent, opt out of certain processing, or appeal a decision. Rights are not absolute and may be limited by identity verification, legal exceptions, and retention obligations.
To submit a request, email support@tutiboutique.com. Describe the request and the email address associated with your order or account. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, subject to proof of authority and identity verification. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
European Economic Area and United Kingdom
If you are in the EEA or United Kingdom, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or port personal information; object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing; and withdraw consent. You may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. A list of EEA supervisory authorities is available from the European Data Protection Board.
International data transfers
We and our providers may transfer, store, and process information outside your country. Where required, transfers from the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland rely on recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide orders and customer care, maintain accounts, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet tax, accounting, legal, and regulatory obligations. Retention depends on the information, purpose, sensitivity, legal requirements, and whether the information can be deleted or de-identified.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep account credentials confidential and contact us if you suspect unauthorized use.
Children
The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If local law sets a higher minimum age for consent to online data processing, that higher age applies. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided personal information can contact us to request review and deletion.
Third-party sites
The Services may link to sites or platforms we do not control. Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own notices. Review those notices before providing personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal, regulatory, or technology changes. The revised policy will be posted here with an updated date, and additional notice will be provided where required by law.
